The Noble Collection offers an officially licensed The Lord of the Rings bracelet, directly inspired by Mount Doom and the One Ring. This piece of jewellery combines a series of black volcanic rock beads with a central gold-coloured stainless steel element evoking the Ring forged by Sauron in the depths of Orodruin.
The stones naturally have an irregular, porous surface – characteristic of lava rock – giving the bracelet a mineral-like appearance that is particularly well-suited to the theme of Mount Doom. At the centre, the gold-coloured metal ring provides a striking contrast to the dark beads and features an engraving inspired by the inscription on the One Ring.
Presented in a black case bearing the gold ‘The Lord of the Rings’ logo, this bracelet can be worn as jewellery or kept as a collector’s item.
Mount Doom, or Orodruin, is the great volcano situated at the heart of Mordor. When Sauron chose this region as his domain during the Second Age, he harnessed the fires of Orodruin for his work as a smith and his sorcery. It was in the depths of this mountain that he forged the One Ring, into which he poured a considerable portion of his own power.
The Ring was designed to dominate the other Rings of Power. Outwardly, it takes the form of a simple gold ring, but an inscription in the Black Speech becomes visible when it is heated. Its destruction is particularly difficult: since it was forged in the flames of Mount Doom, it must be taken back to the Cracks of Doom in order to be destroyed once and for all.
This mission becomes the centrepiece of the story of The Lord of the Rings. Frodo Baggins, accompanied by Sam Gamgee and, initially, the other members of the Fellowship of the Ring, sets out on the journey to Mordor to destroy the Ring. The Ring eventually falls into the flames of the Cracks of Doom, causing its destruction and leading to the downfall of Sauron’s power.
The choice of black volcanic rock beads for this bracelet thus directly echoes Orodruin, whilst the central gold ring alludes to the object forged in its flames, bringing together in a single piece of jewellery the two inseparable elements of the quest for the Ring.
