LILO & STITCH - POP Disney N° 1838 - Stitch as Hades

This Funko POP! Disney figurine (No. 1838) depicts Stitch dressed as Hades, the famous god of the Underworld from the Disney film *Hercules*. This crossover version combines Experiment 626 with the instantly recognisable appearance of the main antagonist from the animated classic, in an original interpretation designed for Disney collectors.

Here, Stitch wears a long black and grey outfit inspired by Hades’, whilst the top of his head is adorned with the character’s famous blue flames. His broad smile and large ears remain clearly visible, however, creating a blend of Stitch’s mischievous appearance and the dark aesthetic of the Lord of the Underworld.

Origin and character lore

Stitch, also known as Experiment 626, is an alien creature artificially created by the scientist Jumba Jookiba. Originally designed to cause chaos, he escapes and ends up on Earth, where he meets Lilo Pelekai in Hawaii.

This encounter gradually transforms Stitch, who, through Lilo and her sister Nani, discovers the concept of ‘Ohana’, or family. Despite his destructive nature and boisterous character, he develops a deep attachment to those around him.

Hades, meanwhile, is the main antagonist in the Disney film *Hercules*. Ruler of the underworld, he is characterised by his sarcastic humour, his explosive personality and, above all, his hair made of blue flames, which changes appearance when he gets angry.

This POP! figure thus combines two very different Disney characters: Stitch’s chaotic yet endearing nature with Hades’s dark, theatrical and flamboyant appearance. The result forms part of the ‘Stitch in Costume’ figurine series, which reimagines Stitch as various characters from the Disney universe.
