Origin and background of the character (Lore)
Aoi Kaguragi is an elite young woman who joins the third unit of the JAKDF (Japan Anti-Kaiju Defense Force) at the same time as Kafka Hibino. Before joining the army, she had already built up a reputation as an outstanding athlete through rigorous physical training. This athletic strength enabled her to achieve one of the highest rates of power release among new recruits during aptitude tests. Very close to Haruichi Izumo, she shares with him a great seriousness and tactical lucidity in the face of danger. Far from seeking glory, Aoi approaches each mission with cool pragmatism and formidable efficiency, making her an indispensable member of the team for defending the rear lines during waves of secondary kaiju assaults.
