Origin and character background
Kikoru Shinomiya is one of the key and most talented figures in the world of Kaiju No.8, the hit action manga by Naoya Matsumoto. The daughter of the Director-General of the Defence Forces, she is regarded as an elite young prodigy, having broken all aptitude records during her entrance exam. Endowed with phenomenal combat strength and an exceptional level of synchronisation with her high-tech suit, she wields a massive custom-made axe to take down monsters with surgical precision. Behind her initially haughty and proud demeanour lies a deeply loyal and determined comrade, ready to risk her life to protect the people and support her allies, notably Kafka Hibino.
This 22 cm figure from the "Glitter & Glamours" collection brilliantly captures all the athletic grace and charisma of the young warrior. It meticulously highlights the clean lines and textures of her official Defence Force uniform, as well as her distinctive hairstyle featuring two large, voluminous blonde plaits rendered in relief. The confident yet determined expression on her face perfectly conveys her inner strength, making this figurine an essential centrepiece to display alongside Captain Gen Narumi, bringing together the elite of the anti-kaiju fight on your shelf.
