Origin and character background
The Tyrannosaurus Rex (T-Rex) is the undisputed icon and apex predator of the Jurassic Park film series, the science-fiction masterpiece directed by Steven Spielberg in 1993, adapted from the novel by Michael Crichton. Created by InGen scientists on Isla Nublar, this prehistoric giant of brute force escapes from its enclosure following the sabotage of the security systems, plunging visitors into an open-air nightmare. The park’s famous monumental wooden gates, topped with flaming torches and the park’s logo, mark the entrance to the unknown. This "Deluxe" format brings together these two cultural icons of the franchise in a meticulously crafted sculpture, perfectly capturing the dinosaur’s scaly skin and the rustic textures of the original gate. An essential centrepiece to crown the display case of any enthusiast of John Hammond’s universe.
