From Jujutsu Kaisen, this Banpresto figurine depicts Ryu Ishigori, a powerful participant in the Culling Game encountered in the Sendai colony. Part of the MAXIMATIC collection, it stands approximately 18 cm tall and strikes a particularly wide combat pose, designed to capture the character’s physical power and confidence.
Ryu is depicted wearing his open black jacket trimmed with white fur, leaving his torso exposed, paired with dark trousers, a belt and black shoes. His voluminous hairstyle, swept forwards – a direct reflection of his signature look in the series – dominates the figure. The sculpture also features his necklace and the various details of his outfit.
The pose emphasises an offensive stance: with his legs spread wide apart, his torso leaning forward and his arms raised, Ryu appears to be captured in the moment of preparing or executing an attack. This expansive composition explains its relatively compact height of 18 cm whilst giving the figurine a significant presence in terms of width. It can notably be paired with the Yuta Okkotsu MAXIMATIC figurine from the same series to evoke their clash in the Sendai colony.

Ryu Ishigori is an exorcist from the past who has been reincarnated to take part in the Extermination Game. The anime’s official website describes him as one of the leading fighters in the Sendai colony and as the player with the highest output of occult energy amongst the Culling Game participants – a power that has led him to be compared to a veritable cannon.
Before Yuta Okkotsu’s arrival, the Sendai colony finds itself in a state of equilibrium amongst several particularly dangerous adversaries: Ryu Ishigori, Takako Uro, Dhruv Lakdawalla and Kurourushi. Yuta’s intervention upsets this balance and leads, in particular, to a direct confrontation between him and Ryu, which is highlighted in the anime’s official promotional material for the Sendai arc.
Ryu also stands out for his very personal philosophy. Despite a first life which he considers relatively fulfilled, he feels he has never been entirely satisfied and is searching for what he calls the ‘dessert’ of his life: a confrontation capable of finally satisfying his immense appetite for combat. This quest for a worthy opponent explains his enthusiasm when he finds himself confronted by Yuta’s power.
