JOJO PART 3 - Iggy (Version A) - Figure Clear Figure 7cm

From JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders, this Banpresto figurine depicts Iggy, the little Boston Terrier who wields the Stand ‘The Fool’. Presented here in Version A, it is part of the CLEAR FIGURE -IGGY- collection and measures approximately 7 cm in height. )

This Version A depicts Iggy with his oversized head, large pricked-up ears and compact body resting on all fours. His coat combines white patches with brown-black sections, crafted from a translucent-looking material. The wide white stripe across his face, his rounded muzzle, his little black nose, his large light-blue eyes and the yellow insides of his ears make his appearance in *Stardust Crusaders* instantly recognisable.

The distinctive feature of the Clear Figure collection lies in the use of semi-transparent parts, which lend greater depth to Iggy’s dark coat. The glossy finish accentuates this effect when displayed under lighting, whilst retaining certain opaque areas to highlight the patterns on his face and paws. This interpretation is deliberately compact and stylised, making it easy to display in a showcase dedicated to JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.

Character background and lore

Iggy is a purebred Boston Terrier with a particularly keen intellect. Before joining the heroes of Stardust Crusaders, he lived as a stray and had made a name for himself amongst the other dogs in New York. He was subsequently taken in by the Speedwagon Foundation, who also discovered that he possessed a Stand. The character’s official profile also notes his strong fondness for coffee-flavoured chewing gum.

Iggy joins Jotaro Kujo, Joseph Joestar, Muhammad Avdol, Noriaki Kakyoin and Jean Pierre Polnareff when their journey takes them to Egypt. His Stand is The Fool, associated with the Fool card in the tarot. His arrival thus completes the group pursuing DIO to Cairo.

Initially uninterested in the mission and often acting independently, Iggy gradually becomes a full member of the team. A major turning point comes when he faces Pet Shop, the falcon guarding DIO’s lair. Despite suffering serious injuries, Iggy manages to survive the fight and indirectly enables the group to locate their enemy’s hideout.

His development reaches its peak during the clash with Vanilla Ice. Just as Polnareff is about to be killed, Iggy uses his last ounce of strength and his Stand to save him. This act definitively transforms the initially self-centred little dog into one of the most memorable companions on the Stardust Crusaders’ journey.

This Clear Figure Version A figurine captures a highly recognisable depiction of Iggy, emphasising his small stature, his characteristic expression and his Boston Terrier design, whilst incorporating the translucent effect unique to this Banpresto collection.
