Taken from *JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Battle Tendency*, the second part of Hirohiko Araki’s series, this Banpresto figurine depicts Caesar Anthonio Zeppeli, a fighter who masters the Wave (Hamon) and a companion of Joseph Joestar. Part of the Mometria collection, this version stands approximately 21 cm tall and captures the character’s distinctive appearance in a relaxed yet confident pose.
Caesar is depicted wearing his short blue jacket over a black and white outfit, with loose-fitting light-coloured trousers, blue knee pads and dark ankle boots. His long purple scarf hangs down along his figure, whilst his distinctive headband and his blonde hair styled upwards make the character instantly recognisable. The various accessories and colourful motifs add contrast to the overall design.
The sculpture adopts a pose directly inspired by the theatrical style characteristic of *JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure*: Caesar places one hand behind his head whilst the other rests near his waist, giving the figure a slightly swaying silhouette. The Mometria range is a collection of prize figures from BANDAI SPIRITS dedicated in particular to various characters from the JoJo universe.
Caesar Anthonio Zeppeli is one of the main characters in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Battle Tendency. He is the grandson of Will A. Zeppeli, a master of the Wave who taught this technique to Jonathan Joestar during Phantom Blood. As the heir to this family tradition, Caesar trains as a Wave fighter to prepare for the confrontation with the formidable Pillar Men.
When he meets Joseph Joestar, their personalities quickly lead to numerous disagreements. Caesar is proud of his heritage and possesses an elegant and self-assured demeanour, whilst Joseph adopts a far more unpredictable approach to combat. Nevertheless, the two men eventually train together under the guidance of Lisa Lisa, who refines their mastery of the Wave ahead of their confrontation with the Pillar Men.
Caesar’s fighting style relies in particular on soap bubbles charged with the Wave. His signature move, the Bubble Launcher, involves firing these bubbles after transferring Wave energy to a specially prepared soapy solution. This highly distinctive technique makes Caesar one of the most recognisable Wave users in *Battle Tendency*.
