Origin and world of the character (Lore)
The name "Bob Gray" occupies a crucial and mysterious place in the mythology of Ça, imagined by writer Stephen King. Often claimed by Grippe-Sou as his true historical human identity, this surname is closely linked to the first appearances of the cosmic entity in Derry. In the prequel series IT: Welcometo Derry, the plot explores the roots of the local curse through the decades prior to the Misfits Club's misadventures. This version features the original avatar of the monster calling himself Robert 'Bob' Gray, marking the terrifying transition where the human figure fades away to be replaced by the silhouette of the sinister dancing clown.
