HATSUNE MIKU - Stage Sekai "Brand New Day" - Figure XStellar 20cm

This XStellar figurine from SEGA Goods depicts Hatsune Miku in her Stage SEKAI look from *Project SEKAI: Colourful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku*. Marketed under the name ‘Brand New Day’, this version features an idol aesthetic directly linked to the world of MORE MORE JUMP!. Made from PVC, the figurine stands approximately 20 cm tall and is a pre-painted display piece.

Miku is depicted in an energetic pose reminiscent of a stage performance, balancing on one leg whilst the other is bent backwards. Her outfit is predominantly white and consists of an asymmetrical dress adorned with turquoise trim, flared sleeves and a bright pink lower section providing a striking contrast. Her long turquoise pigtails flow gracefully with the movement of the pose and lend further volume to her silhouette.

The costume also incorporates several small details reminiscent of Hatsune Miku’s visual identity, notably the turquoise accents and the colourful elements on the bodice and in the hairstyle. The smiling, open pose reinforces the idol-like quality of this incarnation, whilst the styling of the hair and the folds of the dress give the impression of movement captured in the middle of a dance routine.

This item is part of SEGA Goods’ XStellar range. Its size of approximately 20 cm showcases the full outfit and dynamic pose whilst remaining compact enough for a display cabinet or shelf dedicated to Hatsune Miku and Project SEKAI.

Character background and universe (Lore)

In Project SEKAI: Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku, different worlds known as SEKAI are born from the characters’ true feelings. Hatsune Miku and the other Virtual Singers appear in these worlds in forms and with personalities tailored to each of these universes, in order to help the various groups understand and express their emotions.

The SEKAI Stage is directly associated with MORE MORE JUMP!, the idol group comprising Minori Hanasato, Haruka Kiritani, Airi Momoi and Shizuku Hinomori. The official website describes this SEKAI as a stage aglow with glow sticks, born from the four girls’ feelings towards the idol profession. Miku and Rin become idols themselves: they sing and dance on stage whilst helping Minori and her friends discover their true feelings.

MORE MORE JUMP! brings together a young girl dreaming of becoming an idol and several former idols who have left the industry for various reasons. The group gradually develops as an independent act, mainly through online broadcasts, before expanding its activities and setting itself the goal of one day performing in a dome.

This XStellar figurine therefore showcases a version of Hatsune Miku specifically linked to this idol universe. Her stage outfit, her smiling expression and her dynamic pose directly convey the bright and energetic atmosphere of Stage SEKAI.
