Standing 23 cm tall, it features the enlarged format of the POP UP PARADE L range, designed to offer a presence comparable to that of a full-scale figure.

This ‘Lightness’ version features a particularly vibrant colour scheme combining pink, turquoise, white and pastel accents. Miku wears a short white and pink top adorned with a heart-shaped pattern, paired with pink shorts, black fishnet tights and long socks with colourful accents. Her famous turquoise hair is styled here in a more compact and dynamic look, embellished with pink strands and small accessories. Her wink and her very energetic pose, with one arm raised high, perfectly capture the ‘light and cute’ character attributed to this incarnation.

The figurine is a fully pre-painted, non-articulated model, supplied with its base. The sculpt is officially credited to ×××× + Sparrow, whilst the colouring is by Tomofumi (WATANA BOX).

Character background and lore

Hatsune Miku is a virtual singer developed by Crypton Future Media, which over the years has become a creative platform used by countless musicians, illustrators and video artists. This ability to be continually reinterpreted allows the character to take on very different visual identities depending on the artists and projects she is involved in.

DecoMiku is specifically a version of Hatsune Miku developed for the universe of the composer and producer DECO*27. DecoMiku (Lightness) appeared on 18 May 2023 and represents the ‘light and cute’ side of DECO*27’s songs. A second incarnation, DecoMiku (Darkness), was subsequently created on 9 March 2024 to embody, by contrast, their darker and more tormented emotions. Both characters feature notably in dance videos posted on YouTube Shorts and social media.

The project gradually expanded beyond these videos to include merchandise, collaborations and the DecoMiku Comic, launched in December 2024. This series of short comic strips follows Lightness and Darkness in their daily lives and chronicles their development as they pursue their dreams.

The two incarnations also became the protagonists of DecoMiku LIVE starring Hatsune Miku “Hello”, produced by DECO*27 and OTOIRO in 2026. In it, Lightness retains her role as the lively, positive and colourful facet, in direct contrast to Darkness. This POP UP PARADE L figure perfectly embodies this contrast: Lightness stands 23 cm tall and strikes an energetic pose in pastel colours, whilst her Darkness counterpart—sold separately—features a darker colour scheme and a more detached demeanour.
