Fumseck, known as Fawkes in the original version, is Albus Dumbledore’s phoenix in the Harry Potter series. He lives mainly in the Headmaster’s office at Hogwarts and shares a particularly strong bond with him.
Like all phoenixes, Fumseck possesses exceptional magical abilities. He can rise from his own ashes after being consumed by fire, carry heavy loads and use his tears to heal certain particularly serious wounds or poisonings.
He plays a vital role in *Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets*, when he comes to Harry’s aid in his confrontation with the Basilisk. In particular, his tears heal the wound inflicted by the monster, whilst he also helps Harry escape from the Chamber of Secrets.
A symbol of rebirth, loyalty and hope, Fawkes is one of the most important magical creatures in the Harry Potter universe. This perched version particularly highlights his majestic appearance and his connection to Dumbledore.
