Origin and world of the character (Lore)
Secretly given to Harry Potter by the twins Fred and George Weasley in his third year, the Marauder's Map is a priceless magical artefact once created by the Marauders (Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs). This blank scroll instantly comes to life when you utter the phrase "I solemnly swear that my intentions are evil". It then reveals the complete and detailed plans of Hogwarts Castle, all its secret passages and the exact position, in real time, of everyone inside the school. This figurine celebrates the young wizard's spirit of adventure and rebellion, as he uses this invaluable guide to reach the village of Hogsmeade in secret from his teachers.
