Origin and world of the character (Lore)
Inspired by Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, this character is the late younger sister of Albus and Abelforth Dumbledore. Traumatised as a child by the attack of three young Muggles who discovered her magical abilities, Ariana repressed her magic to the point of becoming an Obscurial, prone to destructive and uncontrollable magical explosions. She tragically lost her life in a three-way duel between her two brothers and Gellert Grindelwald, but no one ever knew what spell had struck her. Her large portrait, hidden in the back room of Abelforth's Boar's Head shop, actually conceals the secret passage linking the village of Hogsmeade to the Room on Demand, allowing the trio of heroes to infiltrate Hogwarts to fight the final battle.
