Officially licensed by Harry Potter, this ceramic mug by Grupo Erik is inspired by Honeydukes, the famous sweet shop in the village of Hogsmeade. Its pastel-coloured design captures the indulgent atmosphere of the magical shop, with a capacity of approximately 380 ml.
The mug features a light-coloured base with broad mint-green vertical stripes, paired with a handle and a pastel pink interior. In the centre is the Honeydukes – Sweetshop Treats logo, surrounded by various illustrations of magical sweets: multicoloured sweets, lollipops, wrapped confectionery and other treats inspired by the shop’s world. The Harry Potter logo also appears on the inside of the mug, near the rim.
Honeydukes is the famous sweet shop in Hogsmeade, the wizarding village near Hogwarts. The Official Harry Potter Encyclopaedia describes it as a shop filled with shelves of sweets, offering both classic confectionery and numerous magical specialities. It is one of the favourite shops among Hogwarts pupils when they are allowed to visit the village.
Among the treats on offer are Chocolate Frogs, Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans, Fizzing Whizzbees and various sweets far more unusual than those found in the Muggle world. Harry, Ron and Hermione are regular visitors to the shop during their trips to Hogsmeade.
Honeydukes also plays a more secretive role in the story: its cellar conceals the entrance to an underground passage linking the shop to Hogwarts, behind the statue of the one-eyed witch on the third floor of the castle. Harry discovers this passage thanks to the Marauder’s Map and uses it, in particular, to get to Hogsmeade.
The pastel colour scheme and numerous illustrations of sweets on this mug directly reflect the visual identity of this iconic shop and bring its sweet-filled world to life on a piece of tableware designed for everyday use.
