This Pyramid International magnetic bookmark, officially licensed by Harry Potter, features Hedwig, Harry’s famous white owl. Compact and lightweight, it attaches directly to a page thanks to two magnetic parts that snap together. This design ensures it stays securely in place in a novel, notebook or diary, even when the book is being carried around.
The design features a soft, watercolour-inspired aesthetic. Hedwig is depicted perched on a stack of books with covers in various colours, against a cream background framed by fine gold lines. The Harry Potter logo appears at the bottom, completing a design that directly links the owl to the world of reading and Hogwarts.
Once opened, the bookmark rests on the edge of the page and closes thanks to the built-in magnets. Unlike a traditional bookmark that is simply slipped between the pages, this design reduces the risk of it falling out when the book is handled. Measuring approximately 9 x 4.5 cm, it remains discreet without obscuring a large portion of the text.

Origin and character background (Lore)
Hedwig is Harry Potter’s white owl and one of his most loyal companions. Harry receives her on his eleventh birthday when Rubeus Hagrid buys her from Eeylops Owl Emporium, a shop on Diagon Alley specialising in owls and owl equipment. This gift comes at a time when Harry is truly discovering the wizarding world.
In the Wizarding World, owls are commonly used to carry letters, newspapers and parcels. Hedwig regularly performs this role for Harry and proves particularly clever at tracking down the recipients of his messages, even when they are not at their usual address.
Her role, however, goes far beyond that of a mere messenger. Hedwig accompanies Harry throughout his years at Hogwarts and is also one of his most constant links to the magical world when he has to return to the Dursleys. The official Harry Potter website describes her as one of his closest companions, particularly present during his moments of loneliness.
Hedwig also has a strong personality. Loyal and protective towards Harry, she knows how to show her displeasure when she feels neglected or deprived of her freedom. Her white plumage and her important role in Harry’s life have made her one of the most iconic animals in the entire series, a fact directly reflected in this bookmark, which depicts her perched atop a pile of books.
