Origin and character’s universe
The XXXG-01D Gundam Deathscythe is a legendary mobile suit from the cult Japanese animated series Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, released in 1995. Specialising in infiltration and guerrilla operations, this mecha is distinguished by its formidable electronic cloaking system (Hyper Jammer), which renders it completely undetectable by enemy radar, allowing it to emerge from the shadows to strike by surprise. It takes its name from its devastating main weapon: a gigantic thermal energy beam scythe (Beam Scythe) capable of cutting through the armour of the OZ organisation’s mechas as easily as paper. Piloted by the charismatic and optimistic Duo Maxwell, who describes himself as a ‘Shinigami’ (God of Death), this robot, with its dark and sharp design, is one of the most memorable mecha in the space saga.
