Celebrate 30 years of After War Gundam X with this bust figurine of the Gundam Double X, produced by Banpresto / Bandai Spirits as part of the BUSTISAN Ichibansho range. Standing approximately 18 cm tall, it recreates the powerful Mobile Suit piloted by Garrod Ran in the form of a detailed bust designed for display.
This figurine corresponds to the Gundam Double X BUSTISAN featured as Prize A in the Ichiban Kuji Gundam G・W・X 30th Anniversary collection. Its design focuses on the upper section of the Mobile Suit to highlight its mechanical face, its imposing yellow V-Fin, its breastplate in white, dark blue, red and yellow, and the distinctive translucent green receiver on its torso.
Unlike a Gunpla model kit, this piece is a pre-assembled and pre-painted figurine, designed to be displayed straight away. Its BUSTISAN format emphasises the volume of the torso and head rather than a complete reproduction of the Mobile Suit, thus providing a striking presence in a display case despite its height of 18 cm.

The GX-9901-DX Gundam Double X appears in After War Gundam X. It was developed after the war by the New United Nations Earth using the technologies and data from the Gundam X. Its cockpit is taken directly from its predecessor, which notably allows its Satellite System to be activated without the need for a Newtype.
Its main asset is the Satellite System Mk-II, an evolution of the system used by the Gundam X. This powers the impressive Twin Satellite Cannons, two cannons capable of delivering considerable firepower thanks to energy transmitted from the Moon. A single energy charge also allows the Double X to fire multiple shots, representing a major improvement over its predecessor.
The Double X becomes the Mobile Suit of Garrod Ran, the series’ protagonist. An orphan who grew up in the devastated post-war world, Garrod initially survives by salvaging and reselling military equipment. His encounter with Tiffa Adill and the crew of the Freeden gradually transforms his life and leads him to become an experienced pilot despite his lack of Newtype abilities.
The Gundam Double X thus plays a central role in the second half of the series and represents the culmination of the Gundam X concept: an extremely versatile Mobile Suit combining conventional weapons, close-quarters combat and the devastating power of the Twin Satellite Cannon. Bandai Namco describes it as a machine whose armament and performance have been enhanced to reach the level required to become one of the most powerful Mobile Suits of the After War era.
