Celebrate 30 years of After War Gundam X with this impressive representation of the Gundam Double X produced by Banpresto / Bandai Spirits. Standing approximately 18 cm tall, this BUSTISAN-style figurine recreates Garrod Ran’s mobile suit as a highly detailed bust, displayed on a dedicated base.
The Gundam Double X is depicted in its characteristic colour scheme combining white, black, red, yellow and translucent green. Its head features the yellow V-Fin, whilst the dark panels on the torso frame the green elements of the cockpit and energy system. At the rear, the large golden reflective plates are fully extended, giving the silhouette a substantial width despite the bust format.
The main difference with this ‘Another Version’ lies in the deployment of the two imposing Twin Satellite Cannons above the shoulders. The cannons are angled forwards whilst the rear reflectors are open, directly replicating the iconic firing configuration of the Gundam Double X. The BEM’S visuals also show the figure from several angles, allowing you to appreciate the size of the cannons and the rear structure of the Satellite Cannon system.

The Gundam Double X, designated GX-9901-DX, appears in the second part of After War Gundam X and becomes Garrod Ran’s primary mobile suit. It is a reinforced version of the original Gundam X and incorporates the Satellite System, whilst significantly increasing its power. The official Gundam website presents it as the improved successor to the Gundam X.
Its most famous feature is the Twin Satellite Cannon, consisting of two gigantic cannons mounted on its back. When fired, the reflectors open to receive energy transmitted by the lunar system, before this is concentrated into the two cannons. This configuration is the Double X’s visual and offensive hallmark.
Apart from this extremely powerful weapon, the mobile suit is also equipped with Hyper Beam Swords, a Buster Rifle and a Defence Plate. Its versatility therefore allows it to fight both at range and in close combat, with the Twin Satellite Cannon reserved for situations requiring considerable firepower.
The Gundam Double X is now one of the major symbols of After War Gundam X. To mark the series’ 30th anniversary in 2026, Bandai has developed several new products based on the mecha, including a METAL ROBOT SPIRITS version and this commemorative Ichiban Kuji / BUSTISAN collection.
