Take control of a miniature replica of Yokohama’s mobile monument with the official RX-78F00 Gundam model!
Unveiled in Japan to push the boundaries of mechanical engineering, the RX-78F00 is the first life-size, 18-metre Gundam capable of walking and performing complex movement sequences. This exceptional commemorative model faithfully recreates this feat of modern engineering on a 1/144 scale, featuring armour design that is far more detailed, angular and slender than the classic 1979 model.
This high-end model showcases Bandai Hobby’s structural innovation and refined aesthetics. The articulated chassis has been completely redesigned to faithfully reproduce the kinematics and range of motion of the Yokohama statue, allowing for fluid knee bends and ultra-realistic walking poses. The outer bodywork is distinguished by meticulously detailed armour panels (Panel Lines) and mechanical details moulded into the surface with impeccable clarity. The model is fully pre-coloured in injection-moulded plastic in the official colours (white, royal blue, bright red and yellow). To complete its technical display look, an exclusive sheet of realistic decals faithfully reproduces all the logos and markings found on the real colossus. The kit comes ready for action with its full arsenal: its laser rifle (Beam Rifle), its specially designed heavy shield (Shield) and two lightsabres attached to its back.
The building experience prioritises pure enjoyment, ease of use and immediate accessibility. No messy glue is required; all high-precision components snap together smoothly with a simple mechanical press, thanks to Bandai’s tried-and-tested Snap-fit technology. The parts detach cleanly from the plastic sprues to ensure crisp finishes. Once completed, this 13 cm tall model impresses with its modern look and stands out as an essential historical collector’s item to adorn your manga shelves.
