Origin and character background
Directly inspired by the landmark 1999 film Godzilla 2000: Millennium, this figure majestically celebrates the 70th anniversary of the most famous creature in Japanese pop culture. This feature film introduced the Millennium-era design of the Kaiju, characterised by a much more aggressive appearance, dark, scaly reptilian skin, and giant, sharply pointed, purple dorsal plates. Awakened by an ancient, millennia-old alien rock, the alpha predator emerges from the depths of the ocean to defend its title as King of the Monsters against the threat of the creature Orga, destroying everything in its path.
This Funko Pop! version captures with great graphic fidelity its massive silhouette, its sharp claws, its menacing jaws ready to unleash its atomic breath, and the unique texture of its tail. An absolutely exceptional choice to infuse your display of cinematic monsters with power and prestige.
