Add a touch of humour and charm to your home with this decorative lamp featuring Garfield, the famous orange cat created by Jim Davis. Produced by Grupo Erik, it depicts the cat comfortably settled on a crescent moon, in a relaxed pose true to his laid-back nature.
The sculpture shows Garfield lying on the moon, his eyes closed and a contented smile on his face. His paws dangle on either side, whilst his tail curves upwards along the yellow crescent. The whole piece rests on a white cloud that forms the base of the lamp. The black stripes, beige muzzle and various shades of orange immediately evoke the character’s distinctive appearance.
The lamp gives off a warm glow, perfect for creating a cosy atmosphere in a bedroom, living room, study or a space dedicated to pop culture. The light is controlled via a button on the base. It can be used wirelessly with three AAA batteries or powered via the supplied USB Type-C cable.
Measuring approximately 22 cm in height, this three-dimensional lamp combines mood lighting with a genuine decorative figurine. It will fit perfectly on a bedside table, a shelf or a desk alongside other Garfield-inspired items.
Garfield is an orange tabby cat created by the American cartoonist Jim Davis. The main character in the comic strip of the same name, he lives with his owner Jon Arbuckle and the dog Odie. He is best known for his excessive love of food, particularly lasagne, as well as his fondness for sleep and his avowed dislike of Mondays.
Sarcastic, lazy and particularly self-assured, Garfield observes the world around him with a humour that is often biting. He spends much of his time sleeping, eating or teasing Jon and Odie, whilst occasionally revealing a genuine affection for them. His peaceful pose on the moon perfectly illustrates this constant quest for comfort and tranquillity.
