Origin and background of the product
The Iron Throne is the royal seat of absolute power, a symbol of domination and supreme discord throughout the Seven Kingdoms. Forged by Aegon I Targaryen using the devastating flames of his dragon Balerion the Black Dread, this asymmetrical seat is fashioned from the thousands of swords abandoned by his defeated enemies. This monument to grandeur and power stands in the great audience chamber of the Red Keep, the impregnable royal fortress that overlooks the capital of King’s Landing. It forms the central pivot of all the political and military intrigues of the saga, where every great house is prepared to shed blood to sit upon it.
