Character background and universe (Lore)
In the never-ending struggle between the elite international unit G.I. Joe and the terrorist forces of Cobra, the frontiers of science are constantly being pushed back. Professor Rottclaw has established himself as the brilliant and Machiavellian mastermind behind the creation of the fearsome Paleo-Vipers, a division specialising in the genetic manipulation of extinct predators. By combining fossilised DNA from Mesozoic-era dinosaurs with cutting-edge cybernetic enhancements, Rottclaw has created the Cobra Deinonychus, an ultra-agile combat reptile of unprecedented ferocity. As Pack Leader, he leads his modified creatures into the field to harass the Joes’ defence lines and wreak prehistoric chaos. This exclusive figure embodies the advent of biotechnological weapons within the enemy faction, establishing itself as an indispensable centrepiece to enhance the display cases of all fans of action and retro science fiction.
