Discover Son Goku in a particularly dynamic pose with this collectable figurine from Banpresto’s Match Makers range. Standing approximately 13 cm tall, it depicts the Saiyan in his Super Saiyan transformation, lunging towards his opponent in an energy-charged, offensive stance.
Goku is depicted with his body leaning forward, one knee raised and both fists clenched tightly. His contorted face, clenched teeth and turquoise gaze convey the full intensity of the battle. His golden hair, sculpted into broad, spiky strands, makes his Super Saiyan transformation instantly recognisable.
The character wears the remnants of his famous orange dōgi, which is badly torn across the chest and legs following a particularly gruelling battle. His blue armbands, tattered belt and matching boots complete this iconic look. The detailed sculpting of his musculature and the tears in his clothing reinforces the impression of power and movement.
Presented as part 1/2 of the Match Makers series, this figurine is designed to be displayed opposite the complementary Broly model to recreate their confrontation. Each piece can, however, be displayed separately in a Dragon Ball Z collection.
Son Goku is a Saiyan who was sent to Earth whilst still a child. Raised far from his people, he grew up to be a generous and passionate fighter, always keen to push his limits. Throughout his adventures, he protects Earth from numerous adversaries whilst perfecting his mastery of the martial arts.
The Super Saiyan transformation occurs when Goku unleashes a power previously thought to be legendary, triggered by intense emotion. His hair turns golden, his eyes take on a turquoise hue and his energy increases considerably. This form plays a central role in several major battles in Dragon Ball Z and remains one of the most iconic transformations in the series.
