Origin and background of the character
Son Gohan, the eldest son of Son Goku and Chichi, is one of the protagonists with the most fascinating development in the global epic Dragon Ball Z, created by the late mangaka Akira Toriyama. Although a pacifist by nature and destined for a brilliant career as a scientist, this young boy harbours within him a hidden fighting potential of colossal power, which is unleashed explosively as soon as his loved ones are in danger. Trained the hard way in the art of survival and combat by his mentor Piccolo, Gohan learns at a very early age to overcome his fear in order to defend Earth against the universe’s greatest threats.
This 16 cm figure from the "Match Makers" collection perfectly captures all the passion and determination of this young warrior in the thick of battle. The sculpt meticulously highlights his suspended combat stance, the realistic folds of his purple dogi, and the lines on his face, taut with effort and concentration. It is an absolute must-have for any collector wishing to recreate the atmosphere of the series’ iconic battles and showcase the exceptional bravery of the worthy heir to the Saiyans.
