Character background and universe (Lore)

Vegito is the warrior born from the fusion of Goku and Vegeta using the Kaioshin’s Potara earrings. The character first appears during the Majin Buu saga, when the two Saiyans fuse to face Super Buu after he has absorbed several of their allies. The official Dragon Ball website describes Vegito as the fusion resulting directly from Goku and Vegeta using the Potara earrings.

In Dragon Ball Super, Goku and Vegeta use the Potara earrings once again during the Future Trunks saga to face Fusion Zamasu. Vegito then combines the Potara fusion with the Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan transformation, more commonly known as Super Saiyan Blue, recognisable in particular by his blue hair and pupils.

This Super Saiyan Blue Vegito figure accurately depicts the fused warrior as he appeared during this battle against Zamasu, one of his most memorable appearances in Dragon Ball Super.
