DRAGON BALL SUPER - Broly - Figure S.H. Figuarts 19cm

Dragon Ball Super: Broly — S.H.Figuarts Broly Articulated Figure, 19 cm

Relive the spectacular battles from the film Dragon Ball Super: Broly with this articulated Broly figure from Bandai Tamashii Nations’ S.H.Figuarts range. This version depicts the powerful Saiyan in the Freeza Army armour he wore upon his arrival on Earth and allows you to recreate several stages of his transformation.

The figure captures Broly’s particularly massive build, with his matte skin, long black hair, black and green armour, and the fur tied around his waist. His white boots, reinforced bracelets and the control collar around his neck complete an appearance faithful to that of the film. The colour scheme notably reproduces the character’s darker complexion before he reaches his Full Power form.

Thanks to the various interchangeable heads and facial expressions, Broly can be displayed in three distinct forms: his normal state with black hair, his uncontrolled power form, and his Super Saiyan transformation. This versatility allows you to recreate the character’s evolution during his battle against Vegeta, Goku and Gogeta.

His multiple joints offer great freedom of posing despite his imposing physique. The shoulders, arms, torso and legs can be adjusted to recreate charging poses, powerful strikes or angry stances directly inspired by the action scenes from the feature film. Two pairs of optional hands also allow for a variety of gestures and combat positions.

Character background and universe (Lore)

Broly is a Saiyan born with exceptional fighting potential. King Vegeta, concerned that his power might surpass that of his own son, orders his exile to the hostile planet Vampa. His father, Paragus, joins him and raises him in isolation, whilst harbouring a deep grudge against the Saiyan royal family.

Years later, Broly and Paragus are discovered by Cheelai and Lemo, two members of Frieza’s army. The tyrant quickly realises that he can use Paragus’s anger and Broly’s power to take on Goku and Vegeta. Although still relatively inexperienced against opponents of their calibre, Broly nevertheless possesses an extraordinary ability to adapt: his strength increases continuously as the fight drags on.

As he gradually loses control of his emotions, Broly reaches a level of power close to that of a Great Ape whilst retaining a human appearance. He then transforms into a Super Saiyan and becomes powerful enough to force Goku and Vegeta to fuse, forming Gogeta.

Despite his devastating strength, Broly is not driven by genuine cruelty. Manipulated by his father and Frieza, he comes across primarily as a lone fighter who has not yet mastered his anger. His relationship with Cheelai and Lemo ultimately enables him to break free from this influence and glimpse a more peaceful existence.
