Meet Winnie the Pooh in a particularly sweet version with this large soft toy from Simba Toys’ Disney YuYus collection. Standing approximately 28 cm tall, this version depicts Winnie dressed as a bee and combines the softness of a soft toy with a vinyl-moulded face.
Winnie retains his instantly recognisable yellow face, framed by a large brown hood. His bee costume features the traditional yellow and brown stripes and is completed by two antennae topped with small pom-poms, as well as light-coloured wings on his back. This combination of Winnie and the bee is a particularly fitting nod to his legendary love of honey.
The soft toy combines two different textures: the body and costume are made from a soft, fluffy fabric, whilst the vinyl face allows for a more accurate reproduction of the character’s features and expression. This construction is characteristic of Simba Toys’ large YuYu figures.

Origin and character background (Lore)
Winnie the Pooh is one of the iconic inhabitants of the Hundred Acre Wood. Disney portrays him as a loyal and helpful friend, surrounded by characters such as Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore, Rabbit, Owl, Little Guru and Christopher Robin.
His love of honey is one of the character’s most famous traits. Indeed, many of Winnie’s adventures begin when he is trying to satisfy his sweet tooth or get his hands on a new jar of ‘hunny’. Disney even devotes several musical sequences to this recurring passion.
The bee costume chosen for this YuYus therefore directly echoes this iconic element of his world. It does not correspond to any specific outfit from a film or episode: Simba Toys offers here a decorative reinterpretation of the character, playing on the obvious link between bees, honey and Winnie’s sweet tooth.
