Character background and lore
Gaston is the main antagonist in Beauty and the Beast. A hunter admired by the villagers, he is convinced of his own superiority and regards Belle as the ideal woman to be his wife. However, his excessive self-confidence and narcissism prevent him from accepting that she might reject his advances.
When Belle rejects him and the Beast’s existence is revealed, his jealousy gradually gets the better of him. Gaston exploits the villagers’ fear and leads a mob to the castle to confront the Beast, fully revealing his manipulative and violent nature.
This Deluxe Art Scale figurine particularly highlights his theatrical and arrogant personality through his posture, his distinctive red tunic and an elaborate base directly inspired by the film’s aesthetic.
