DIGIMON ADVENTURE - Greymon - Figure Digivice 13cm

From Digimon Adventure, this Banpresto figurine depicts Greymon, Agumon’s Champion-level evolution and one of the iconic forms of Taichi ‘Tai’ Yagami’s Digimon partner. Part of the Digivice Figure / Digivice Stand collection, it stands approximately 13 cm tall and features the Digimon mounted on a base directly inspired by the famous Digivice from the series.

Greymon retains his classic appearance as a large dinosaur-like Digimon: an orange body criss-crossed with blue stripes, powerful legs ending in long white claws, and an imposing dark brown headguard bristling with several horns. Its open mouth and battle-ready stance emphasise its massive appearance, whilst retaining the proportions and colours associated with its portrayal in *Digimon Adventure*.

Character background and universe (Lore)

Greymon is one of Agumon’s most iconic evolutions. In *Digimon Adventure*, Agumon is the partner of Taichi Yagami, one of the Chosen Children transported to the Digital World. Greymon is his Champion/Adult-level evolution, taking on a much more imposing appearance and combat power far surpassing that of his Rookie form. Sources dedicated to the series identify Greymon as a dinosaur-type Digimon with the Vaccine attribute.

His first evolution in the original series occurs very early on in the adventure. When Shellmon attacks the group and captures Tai, Agumon evolves into Greymon to protect his partner and manages to repel the opponent. This scene, which takes place in the second episode of *Digimon Adventure*, immediately establishes Greymon as one of Agumon’s primary battle forms.

Greymon notably uses the Mega Flame attack, which involves firing a powerful fireball from its mouth. Throughout the adventure, this form also serves as a stepping stone towards even more powerful evolutions: with the help of Tai’s Emblem of Courage, Greymon can evolve into MetalGreymon, and later reach the ultimate form of WarGreymon.

This Digivice figurine therefore depicts a key stage in Agumon’s lineage, whilst linking Greymon to the device that symbolises the bond between the Chosen Children and their Digimon partners.
