Shinobu Kocho is one of the Hashira, the highest-ranking fighters in the Demon Slayer Corps. She holds the title of Insect Hashira and stands out from the other members of this group due to her highly distinctive approach to combat. The anime’s official website highlights, in particular, her exceptional knowledge of medicine and her use of a special poison capable of killing demons.
Shinobu features notably during the Mount Natagumo mission, where she fights alongside Giyu Tomioka. Despite her calm demeanour and almost constant smile, she possesses a deep determination in her fight against demons and also plays an important role in the care and recovery of the Demon Slayers.
Her fighting style is based on the Insect Breathing technique and a Nichirin blade specially adapted for injecting poison. This specialisation, combined with her pharmaceutical knowledge, allows her to adopt a fighting style very different from that of the other Pillars.
This 22 cm Glitter & Glamours Shinobu Kocho figurine thus pays tribute to one of the most distinctive characters in Demon Slayer, recognisable by her butterfly-inspired aesthetic, her calm demeanour and her mastery of poisons.
