The History and Lore of the Object
Giyu Tomioka, a Water Pillar (Mizukage) in the Demon-Slaying Army, was the very first elite warrior Tanjiro Kamado met. Impressed by the young man's determination and Nezuko's protective instincts, he chose to spare them and guide them towards his own mentor, Sakonji Urokodaki. Behind his icy demeanour, his heavy silence and his apparent distance from the other Pillars lies a swordsman with a big heart, consumed by a survivor's complex. An absolute master of the Breath of Water, he has pushed his art beyond its known limits by creating an eleventh exclusive formula of formidable effectiveness: the Flat Calm (Nagi).
This figurine showcases the martial stature of the fighter, sublimated by the moving postures and the great sense of relief that characterise the Maximatic collection. It faithfully reproduces his unique two-tone haori - a tribute to his late friend Sabito and his sister - his deep blue eyes full of restraint, and his nichirin Sun katana. A striking snapshot that testifies to his steely will and quiet power, ready to strike down demons.
