SEGA Goods celebrates the world of Blue Archive with this XStellar figurine dedicated to Hanako Urawa in a ‘Happy Valentine!!’ edition. Standing approximately 25 cm tall, this version features a display specially designed for Valentine’s Day, with a light-coloured outfit and a soft colour scheme that contrasts with the character’s usual school uniform.
Hanako is depicted in an elegant, slightly tilted pose, wearing a white ensemble consisting of a high-necked knitted top and matching bottoms. Her long pink hair is rendered with a sense of movement, whilst in one hand she holds a small red and pink gift reminiscent of the chocolates traditionally given on Valentine’s Day. Her characteristic halo is also faithfully incorporated into the sculpture.
Hanako Urawa is a pupil at Trinity General School in Blue Archive. She is a member of the Make-Up Work Club, also known as the Supplementary Lessons Department, alongside Hifumi Ajitani, Azusa Shirasu and Koharu Shimoe. Behind her calm, refined and exceptionally polite exterior, Hanako has a much more mischievous side and enjoys unsettling those around her with her witty remarks and sense of humour.
The character also stands out for her intelligence and keen powers of observation, which are far superior to what her membership of a remedial club might suggest. The main story gradually reveals that her academic situation does not truly reflect her abilities: Hanako is primarily seeking to escape the expectations and various influential factions at Trinity, preferring to preserve her freedom and the bonds she has forged with her classmates.
SEGA’s ‘Happy Valentine!!’ variant moves away from her Trinity uniform to offer a seasonal take on the character. The white tones of her outfit, the small gift she is holding and the heart-shaped base firmly anchor this figurine in the Valentine’s Day theme, whilst retaining the visual elements immediately associated with Hanako, notably her long pink hair and her halo.
