BEYBLADE X - Valor Bison FB

This Hasbro Beyblade X spinning top is the Valor Bison FB, an Endurance-type configuration from the Unique Line. Sold as part of an Infinity Starter Pack, it differs from classic Beyblade X models in that the ratchet is integrated directly into the blade. The set includes the spinning top and a launcher, allowing it to be used straight away in a Beyblade X-compatible Beystadium.

Valor Bison features a three-pronged blade with a central Gear Chip depicting a bison. Its main mechanical feature lies in the three small rollers mounted between its contact zones. These can rotate freely when they come into contact with the opposing top and are designed to absorb or deflect some of the impact. This design forms part of the Unique Line’s Expand Blade system, in which the Blade and Ratchet form a single unit.

The FB Bit stands for ‘Free Ball’. Its spherical tip can rotate freely relative to the rest of the spinning top, a design intended to minimise energy loss upon contact with the arena floor or the Xtreme Line. This configuration promotes relatively stable rotation in the centre of the arena and corresponds to the Endurance orientation of the Valor Bison FB.

The spinning top spins clockwise and weighs approximately 42.9 g as a complete combat unit. The Blade Valor Bison itself is designed with a focus on impact resistance, whilst the Bit Free Ball completes the set-up with a design prioritising the maintenance of rotation. The set-up thus offers a playing style more focused on endurance and stability than on the aggressive manoeuvres typical of attack-oriented set-ups.

Origin and universe of Beyblade X (Lore)

Beyblade X represents a new generation of the Beyblade franchise, centred on battles between customisable spinning tops. Each configuration is based on a combination of different parts that directly influence its behaviour in the arena: impact power, stability, endurance, trajectory and resistance to being knocked out or ‘Bursts’.

One of the key features of Beyblade X is the Xtreme Line found in the dedicated Beystadiums. The gears on the Bit can make contact with this toothed section of the stadium to trigger an Xtreme Dash, a sudden burst of acceleration capable of turning the tide of a battle.

Valor Bison FB belongs to the Unique Line, which introduces more unconventional designs than standard configurations. In this case, the Ratchet is no longer a separate part but is directly integrated into the Valor Bison Blade. This design allows its three movable rollers to be incorporated into the periphery of the Blade.

Its visual theme is based on the bison, an animal associated with power and resilience. This identity fits well with a spinning top designed to withstand clashes whilst maintaining its spin. Paired with the Free Ball Bit, the Valor Bison FB thus favours a strategy of remaining stable and prolonging the battle in order to gradually outlast the opponent’s spinning top.
