Origin and character’s universe
Directly inspired by Tim Burton’s fantasy-gothic comedy Beetlejuice, this figure depicts the young Astrid Deetz, portrayed on screen by Jenna Ortega. The daughter of Lydia Deetz and granddaughter of Delia, this sceptical and rebellious teenager firmly rejects her mother’s supposed gift of clairvoyance and refuses to believe in ghosts. However, her curiosity drives her to explore the attic of the mysterious house in Winter River, where she discovers a model of the town and unwittingly gets her hands on the Handbook for the Recently Deceased. Her chance encounter with a spirit opens a portal to the afterlife, drawing her into a macabre and thrilling adventure at the heart of the realm of the dead.
This Funko Pop! figure captures her appearance as a modern, disillusioned teenager with great graphic fidelity, characterised by her casual outfit, tied-back brown hair and serious expression. An absolutely exceptional choice to complete your collection dedicated to Tim Burton’s masterpieces and enhance your display cabinet.
