See Batman as portrayed by Christian Bale in the 2005 film Batman Begins with this articulated figure from Beast Kingdom’s Dynamic Action Heroes (DAH) range. Catalogue number DAH-118, it measures approximately 21 cm and recreates the first version of the Batsuit worn by Bruce Wayne in Christopher Nolan’s trilogy.
The figure captures the bulky, functional look of this first suit, which in the film was derived from experimental military equipment before being modified by Bruce Wayne to become his Batman costume. The sculpting of the mask and the visible part of the face is directly inspired by Christian Bale’s features, whilst the various sections of the armour, the utility belt and the suit’s textures are reproduced with precision. A fabric cape completes the ensemble.
With over 22 points of articulation, this version allows Batman to be posed in a wide range of action poses. Several interchangeable hands are included, along with two Batarangs and the grapple gun from the Nolanverse, enabling you to recreate various scenes and poses inspired by *Batman Begins*.

Released in 2005 and directed by Christopher Nolan, Batman Begins explores the origins of Bruce Wayne and the birth of Batman. Following the murder of his parents, Bruce leaves Gotham and travels the world to understand crime, fear and the means to combat injustice. Christian Bale plays Bruce Wayne, alongside Michael Caine as Alfred, Gary Oldman as James Gordon, Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox, Liam Neeson and Cillian Murphy.
Back in Gotham, Bruce uses his fortune, his training and the technology developed by Wayne Enterprises to create an identity capable of striking fear into the hearts of criminals. In particular, he transforms various experimental pieces of equipment into elements of his arsenal, giving rise to the Batsuit, the Batarang and several gadgets that define this first incarnation of Batman in the Nolan trilogy.
The film also confronts Bruce with the consequences of his training with the League of Shadows, as well as the threats posed by Ra’s al Ghul and the Scarecrow. This first adventure establishes Batman as a new force in the fight against crime in Gotham and lays the foundations for the universe subsequently developed in *The Dark Knight* and *The Dark Knight Rises*. DC thus presents *Batman Begins* as the story of the emergence of the Dark Knight and his transformation into a force serving Gotham.
