Character background and lore
In the ultra-violent world of the manga Baki-Dou, the sequel to the famous Baki saga, Musashi Miyamoto is not merely a historical figure, but a clone created in the modern era from tissue taken from his remains, whose soul has been summoned from the dead by a medium. Regarded as the greatest samurai and the kensei (sword saint) in Japanese history, the inventor of the two-sword fighting technique (Niten Ichi-ryū) finds himself catapulted into the 21st century. Driven solely by his obsessive desire for glory, combat to the death and domination, his power is such that he can cut down his opponents with a mere gesture of his empty hand by projecting his pure intent. His arrival brings the entire world of modern martial arts to its knees, driving elite fighters such as Baki Hanma, Yujiro the Ogre and Kaioh Retsu into duels of unprecedented brutality. This figurine celebrates the absolute embodiment of savagery and martial mastery in a legendary character.
