AVENGERS DOOMSDAY - Nightcrawler - Figure Legend Series 15cm

This Hasbro Marvel Legends Series articulated figure depicts Diablo – the French name for Nightcrawler – in his look inspired by the Marvel Studios film *Avengers: Doomsday*. Standing approximately 15 cm tall, it features a high level of articulation and premium finish, making it ideal for both display and creating dynamic poses. 

The figure recreates Kurt Wagner’s instantly recognisable features: blue skin, pointed ears, yellow eyes and an agile build, with a dark outfit accented with red. Hasbro includes five accessories with the figure. Character background and universe (Lore)

Kurt Wagner, alias Nightcrawler and traditionally known as Diablo in the French versions of the X-Men universe, is a mutant best known for his ability to teleport. Despite an appearance that might arouse suspicion, he is portrayed by Hasbro as a courageous hero who has found his place amongst the mutants and is determined to protect them. He is one of the iconic members of the X-Men alongside characters such as Cyclops, Jean Grey, Wolverine, Storm and Beast.

Before becoming an X-Man, Kurt Wagner was notably associated with the circus world. Marvel points out that he was once a circus performer and that his character retains a strong swashbuckling quality, as he is a lover of adventure and fencing. This aspect of the character explains the regular presence of sabres amongst his equipment, including the two swords supplied with this Marvel Legends figure.

His teleportation, however, is his most distinctive power. Nightcrawler can vanish instantly from one place and reappear elsewhere, an ability which, combined with his agility and fighting skills, allows him to adopt an extremely mobile fighting style. Marvel regularly describes him as the X-Men’s blue teleporter, whilst his adventures also highlight his optimism and loyalty to his companions despite the prejudice associated with his appearance.

This Marvel Legends version brings Diablo into *Avengers: Doomsday*, where the character joins a cast bringing together several generations and branches of the Marvel Universe. The figure retains his most recognisable classic features — his blue appearance, tail, mobility and swordplay — whilst adapting them to his contemporary cinematic incarnation.
