Origin and background of the character
Levi Ackerman is a central character in the manga *Attack on Titan* (Shingeki no Kyojin), written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama, which was later adapted into a globally successful animated series. The story is set in a dystopian world where humanity lives in seclusion behind immense walls to protect itself from giant, man-eating humanoid creatures known as the Titans. Within this narrative, Levi holds the rank of Senior Corporal (or leader of the Tactical Squad) in the Scout Regiment. He is renowned in the series for his absolute technical mastery of the three-dimensional manoeuvring gear and his methodical dedication to defending the human population.
