Part of Kotobukiya’s original ARCANADEA range, Yukumo is a beast-type Dear presented as an articulated model kit approximately 15.5 cm tall. Based on an original illustration by necömi, the character combines traditional Japanese aesthetics with the fantasy and mechanical elements characteristic of the ARCANADEA universe.
The kit allows you to recreate two distinct configurations by swapping out several parts: Normal Mode, corresponding to Yukumo’s everyday appearance, and Wilize Mode, her combat form. Its design is notably characterised by an imposing, three-section articulated tail; a shimenawa ritual rope placed on her back and adorned with bells and shide; and a magic circle mounted on a HEXA G-R.A.M. connection system. The various components feature numerous joints to allow for a wide range of poses.
Yukumo comes with two dedicated weapons. The first is a shakujō-style ritual staff, each ring of which can move independently. The second takes the form of a walking stick concealing a blade, which can be used in combat poses. The front section of the skirt consists of several movable parts so as not to restrict leg movement, whilst the strands of hair attached on either side of the head are mounted on ball joints.
The kit also includes four pre-printed faces, decals to customise expressions and six pairs of PVC hands. A special base with a support joint for the large tail is provided to improve stability in complex poses. The standard 3 mm connectors also ensure compatibility with numerous accessories from the M.S.G, Frame Arms and Frame Arms Girl ranges, whilst neck parts allow certain Frame Arms Girl and Megami Device heads to be fitted.

Yukumo is a Beast-type Dear associated with the Nature attribute. Her official profile describes her as a gentle, peaceful young girl who dislikes conflict. Very shy and reserved, she finds it somewhat difficult to strike up a conversation with others and may, at first glance, give the impression of being fragile or lacking in self-confidence.
However, this apparent shyness masks a much more determined personality. Once she has made a decision, Yukumo is capable of persevering to the very end without giving up, revealing true inner strength. She also has a more unexpected side: she takes a keen interest in trends and news she discovers on television or online, but sometimes tends to believe them a little too readily.
Like the other characters in ARCANADEA, Yukumo belongs to the Dears, beings who have appeared in a world transformed by the mysterious energy known as Arcana. The relationship between a Dear and their human partner is called ‘Engage’ and forms one of the central concepts of this universe, which blends science fiction and fantasy.
The model kit directly reflects this narrative duality through Yukumo’s two configurations. Her Normal Mode emphasises her peaceful appearance and traditionally inspired elements, whilst Wilize Mode transforms her gear for combat, complete with weapons, a large tail and back ornaments. The Engage system is also physically represented by a ring-shaped piece worn as a necklace, included in the kit.
