Part of Kotobukiya’s original ARCANADEA range, Velretta is a demon-type Dear presented as an articulated model kit. Based on an original illustration by necömi, she combines a fantasy aesthetic with mechanical elements and numerous customisation options characteristic of the collection.
The kit allows you to recreate two distinct configurations by swapping different parts: Normal Mode, corresponding to her non-combat appearance, and Wilize Mode, in which Velretta deploys her full arsenal. Her small demonic wings are mounted on joints that allow them to be freely positioned, whilst her long tail features several points of articulation. The locks of hair on either side of her face are also mounted on ball joints to complement the head’s poses.
One of the character’s most distinctive features is her transformable weapon, capable of changing from an umbrella-like form to that of a spear. The various armour pieces use 3 mm connectors and can be repositioned or combined with other Kotobukiya accessories. The wing mounting system on the back also utilises a HEXA G-R.A.M. connection, compatible with certain items from the HEXA GEAR range.
Velretta comes with four pre-printed faces, decals to create additional expressions, five sets of PVC hands and a special display stand. Neck parts also allow the use of certain heads from the Frame Arms Girl and Megami Device ranges. This product corresponds to the standard AR002 version, and not to the ReACT-P or First Engage variants.

Velretta is a demon-type Dear associated with the Water attribute. Her official profile describes her as one of the members of the Seven Demon Spears. Although very self-assured and readily provocative, she nevertheless feels genuine affection for her Master, even if her temperament generally prevents her from expressing it directly.
Velretta is particularly intelligent, but prefers to use her abilities to devise pranks and mischief rather than for serious pursuits. Her mischievous nature, however, hides a much more caring side: when she encounters someone in trouble, she tends to step in and help them, despite her sometimes arrogant attitude. Her combat skills are also well-recognised, which explains her claimed membership of the Seven Demon Spears.
In the world of ARCANADEA, Dears are beings from another world capable of forming a bond known as ‘Engage’ with certain humans, their Dear Masters. The model kit directly brings this concept to life with the included Engage ring and the ability to switch between Normal Mode and Wilize Mode, the latter representing the character’s combat state.
Velretta is also one of the characters featured in the ARCANADEA anime adaptation, announced for January 2027. In this version, she is described as a demonic Dear linked to Kaho Asagi, a member of the Seven Demonic Spears; she is very confident and mischievous, yet naturally takes the lead in the group formed with Kaho and Yukumo.
