Origin and character background (Lore)

The Cheshire Cat is one of the iconic characters from Alice in Wonderland. In the classic Disney animated film released in 1951, Alice discovers an absurd and unpredictable world after following the White Rabbit down into his burrow. There she meets, amongst others, the Mad Hatter, the March Hare, the Queen of Hearts and the mysterious Cheshire Cat.
