ADVENTURE TIME - Kwistal Fighting for Fun Series - Display 6 Fig.

Mighty Jaxx revisits the world of Adventure Time with the Kwistal: Fighting for Fun Series, a range of collectable figurines with a translucent, crystal-inspired finish. This display features 6 blind boxes showcasing the main inhabitants of the Land of Ooo in dynamic poses directly inspired by their adventures.

The main series features Finn the Human, Jake the Dog, Princess Bubblegum, Marceline, the Ice King and BMO. Each character is depicted in the thick of the action: Finn wields his sword, Jake uses his elastic abilities, Princess Bubblegum fights with her gear, Marceline accompanies the action on her bass guitar, the Ice King unleashes his powers and BMO also strikes a combat pose. A rare variant featuring the Lich completes the collection, though its inclusion in a display is not guaranteed.

Mighty Jaxx’s Kwistal style combines the characters’ signature colours with translucent parts and graphic effects reminiscent of shards of crystal. The figures rest on bases inspired by open pages, reinforcing the narrative aspect and giving each model the appearance of a scene leaping straight out of an adventure book.

Presented as a display of six mystery boxes, this set is designed for collecting and display. A complete display contains six figures with no duplicates from the standard range, whilst the rare figure is selected at random. Each figure measures approximately 10 cm and is made from ABS and PVC.

Origin and backstory of the characters (Lore)

Adventure Time is set mainly in the Land of Ooo, a fantasy world that emerged long after a catastrophe that profoundly transformed the Earth. The series follows Finn the Human and his best friend Jake, a dog with powers that allow him to change the shape and size of his body. Together, they travel across Ooo and find themselves at the heart of numerous quests involving magic, strange creatures and clashes with supernatural forces.

Several iconic characters from the series revolve around them. Princess Bubblegum rules the Candy Kingdom and combines royal duties with scientific talents. Marceline is a vampire musician whose past is closely linked to the history of Ooo, whilst the Ice King is a tragic figure whose powers stem from his magical crown. BMO, a small, living games console, regularly accompanies Finn and Jake on their adventures.

The Lich, meanwhile, represents one of the most dangerous threats in the Adventure Time universe. An ancient entity associated with destruction and the extinction of all life, she is the exact opposite of the spirit of friendship, adventure and imagination embodied by Finn and his companions. The Fighting for Fun Series captures this contrast by featuring the heroes of Ooo ready for battle, with the Lich as a rare variant in the collection.
